Nitesh Kumar, a resident of Ansal Town, was shocked to found his home burgled on January 25.
The thieves made away with the gold, a 32-inch LCD TV, the gas cylinder and cash of Rs 15,000, as mentioned in the FIR.

Moreover the police denied to accept that they had undervalued the gold, refused to make any corrections in the evaluation.
"Police said the jewellery was worth just Re 1. All the other things we lost were collectively estimated at Rs 15,000. I insisted that the station in-charge correct the evaluation in the FIR. He said I should contact the clerk who wrote the FIR and refused to cooperate,"Nitesh said.
